Price and Promotion Insight Analyst - Leeds

Your Role

As Pricing Analyst Lead you will be responsible for reporting Asda's price and promotion performance to the business, understanding the key drivers of any change in order to identify opportunities and support with the development of pricing tools to drive more effective decision making.

You will be responsible for creating, building and developing tools, reports and analysis to assist in day to day pricing and promotional decisions as well as supporting ad-hoc analysis requests from senior stakeholders supporting time-sensitive commercial decisions. You will be doing this leveraging complex data sets to help understand impacts on our price and promotion position and performance.

You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders within the commercial, finance and customer function building capability to support understanding of impact price and promotional decision on performance and market dynamics

About You

• You will have an analytical background with 2+ years experience in a data focused role
• You should have an eye for detail and a passion for data
• Strong communication skills along with the ability to articulate complex information to support data-led recommendations
• Coding experience, such as SQL would be advantageous
• Proficient in using Excel and experience collating and evaluating data
• Experience using data visualisation software, such as Tableau & PowerBI, is also desirable
• Experience working with pricing, customer or market performance data to support business decision making
