Sales Executive - Accommodation Available - New Milton, Hampshire

Chewton Glen is an English original. From the unique 72 bedrooms including 14 one of a kind Treehouses, to the award-winning spa and state of the art James Martin cookery school, it has an abundance of ways to revive your senses. To be responsible for processing and co-ordinating incoming business in relation to the Cookery School by James Martin. To ensure customer service levels and smooth delivery of products and services for the client on all courses and events. The objective of this role is to maximise Cookery School revenue, whilst creating elevated experiences.

Responsibilities of theSales Executive

  • Lead on all Cookery School bookings, admin and revenue
  • Hosting and welcoming Cooking School guests as required
  • To work with the Chef Tutor on an enviable class timetable, providing training on class content as required
  • Communicating all courses internally across departments
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to successfully communicate all classes to potential guests, tracking response
  • Proactive in suggesting and implementing ways to improve sales, keeping an up to date sales tracker
  • To be responsible for sponsorship opportunities and collaborations with guest chefs
  • Attend weekly and bi-weekly meetings, producing minutes
  • To liaise with operational departments to ensure we are delivering consistent service and adhering to our excellence standards, understanding teamwork and flexibility
  • Confident in understanding monthly budgets and forecast targets. To minimise any external cost and to maintain expenses within agreed budget lines

Sales Executive - About you

  • You will have a keen eye for detail
  • To have a genuine interest in food and to be aware of all food, drink and dining trends. Must have thorough industry knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Opera and Salesforce experience is desirable
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
