Resident Service Assistant, Holiday Inn Express, Leeds

Our hotel is currently operating under a government contract. We are searching for Resident Service Assistants who are compassionate, caring individuals to help support our operation and look after our long-term residents. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the reception area, administration tasks, preparing and serving of meals and some cleaning duties. Most importantly you will be interacting and providing a great environment for our long term guests.

Our hotel is a quiet, quaint hotel set just outside the village of Oulton, 4 miles from Leeds City Centre.  Here you will find a welcoming team, that create an environment of fun, trust, hard work, and family. We all love our jobs and work together as a unit towards delivering the very best guest service to all who enter through our hotel.

Nearest bus stop is Rothwell Leisure Centre, (opposite the hotel) 2 minutes’ walk, buses 189 to Wakefield, 410 to Pontefract & 168 to Castleford all run past into Leeds.

Your role in our family:

As a Resident Service Assistant, your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide ‘front of house’ services at the property as required 
  • Ensuring the set up of the restaurant for mealtimes
  • Basic meal production, with Food Safety and Hygiene practises followed
  • Maintaining of buffets and clearing/sanitising of tables in restaurant area
  • To maintain the reception, restaurant, public areas, stores, back office and staff areas in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Deal with any guest queries/complaints in a polite and friendly manner ensuring guest satisfaction
  • All complaints, comments, special requests and other business to be recorded in the daily handover log.
  • To clearly communicate with other departments to ensure minimal impact on guest service.
  • To ensure all rooms are serviced in an efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance, security and integrity of our guests
  • Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, cleaning to a high standard and perform other duties.
