This is an exciting time to join Carnival UK with 3 new ships joining the Cunard and P&O Fleet in 2020 and two in 2022 and the continued expansion of Carnival UK will provide career and development opportunities across all departments, including Finance. With this period of growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team here in Southampton.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overall Business modelling, enabling scenario analysis.
• Coordination of twice yearly long term plan process, ensuring clarity of presentation and scope. Working cross functionally to ensure consistency of approach and assumptions for all planning teams. Providing accurate financial data for strategic plan presentations, assisting Brand planners with story board.
• Corporate benchmarking.
• Creation of presentation for strategic plan and Business drivers to Executive team. 
• High level business modelling e.g. ship sale or acquisition, ROIC modelling, Brexit planning etc.
• To deputise for the Corporate FP&A Director as required.

About You 

• FP&A experience working in a fast paced environment
• Qualified accountant
• Cross functional and multi-level (incl. Board level) influencing, communication and teamwork.
• Large Company experience
• Management reporting experience
• Experience in forecasting and planning
• Makes suggestions for improvements to management information
• Documents  processes and process changes, making recommendations for improvements
