We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Human Resources team in the role of Onboard Trainer. You will develop, deliver, and evaluate supervisory skills, behavioural skills and product and customer service training. You will identify learning needs, input into training needs analysis and support the design and development of fit for purpose training solutions. You will support the development of crew knowledge, skills and behaviours by using a range of training and development delivery methods and styles to promote and facilitate learning.

You will support the development of crew knowledge, skills and behaviours by using a range of training and development delivery methods and styles to promote and facilitate learning.
You will work collaboratively with ship and shore stakeholders to ensure that training needs are fully met and excellent standards of training are upheld to ensure high customer satisfaction.
To be considered a suitable applicant for this role you will have the following knowledge and experience:
  • Have experience of delivering training within the Cruise or Hotel industry
  • Have experience of training delivery in supervisory skills, behavioural and product and service skills training
  • Be an experienced facilitator and able to train others to deliver training
  • Experience of presenting information to large and diverse audiences
  • Proficient in the use of all MS Office software including; Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Human Resources/Training qualification or relevant experience

  • Work well under pressure, prioritising effectively where necessary
  • Self manage with accountability for own work
  • Be able to work collaboratively

The contract lengths are either 4 or 6 months onboard with 2 months leave, and life onboard involves working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your 10 hours will be split between morning, afternoon and evening activities.
